The pictures below are taken with the Olympus L600. A nice camera but for $700.00 they could loose the plastic shell. also the battery live could be longer ... a lot longer. The typical Olympus problem found in the IS-10 camera also exists in the L-600 digital camera. If it's dark the camera will not take pictures. Don't buy it if you want a point an shoot camera. It points but things have to be right to shoot. On the Plus side it's a true SLR - probably the only reasonable priced digital SLR. The viewfinder is large and bright. The LCD panel is much better than the DC120 display and seems to use less battery the others (Samsung, Fuji, Kodak)  If you're into closeups or macro pictures this camera is the only and best choice under $1000.00. It takes sharper picture than the Kodak DC120. 1.4 megapixels worth.
