as told by Buffy! Any historical correctness is accidental.

My great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great,  great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, great, (historical accuracy requirement) grandfather....well he was great but it was a long time ago.

He lived overseas.....  It was a clam day on the coast of Scotland. Something was in the air - The Vikings are coming  - stop - rewind .... sorry wrong story. However my great great great great ... you know who ran all the way down to England anyway. So after a few generations my not so great great great grandfather was tired of being called a "broken haired scotish terrier"

specially since he lived in England for all of his live. His friends called him Yorkie.  He was a good mouse hunter ... so who needs cats anyway - well they are good for chasing.

Most of his sons and daughters weight between 12 to 14 pound.  But by the late 1800's most yorkies weight between 3 and 13 pounds.  I guess that's why they call some of them Toy dogs.  Not me, I'm a Texas size yorkie.

Some of  Mr. and Mrs.Yorkie's grandkids came over to the United States. Gee I'm glad they came over around 1880. They could have been on the Titanic if they waited too long.  Anyway a few years later I was born. I'm

born and bred in Texas. I love to bark at  Texas  possums . I eat Texas steaks and Texas sausage.  I prefer Meyers Elgin Hot Sausage. (I hope I get a free one for this plug!)  In the early days I was a great mouse chaser but I'm concentrating on bones these days. I got in trouble digging for mice in the flower beds - I wonder why?  I'm studying archeology and I'm attending Professor Dr.Wolfgang Barkadeus classes. He buries the bones and I find and excavate them. Most of them are already cured and ready to chew. When I get my degree I will initiate a expedition to Jurassic Park. You may send donation for the mission to "Big Adventures with Big Bones".  ....some of these bones are 8 feet long, I hear.
